There’s something intriguing about photographs that are pieced together from various frames, or in the case of Paul’s previous post, multiple exposures that create a single image with noticeable overlaps. When viewing these pictures, the eye at first sees the whole and then starts to wander around to the various frames, perceiving these as individuals and at the same time piecing them together to form the whole again.

I’ve long been enthralled with process, be it chemical/material from film, cutting and pasting and re-photographing collages to the more current myriad means of interpretation that digital technology allows; cut and paste with keyboard and mouse- digital scissors and glue.
